I left Heiye to teach the children and sat with Nimaseki. Her knuckles are swollen with the results of age. Her face is ruddy with it, and she speaks less now than she did. The heat did her no favors, and Meyni is pleased she lives.
She has been unable to keep up with her sewing. That is a problem, with a baby on the way. The rent we pay is helpful, but I suspect not helpful enough. Nima was fretting about it. I shall discuss it with Meyni when next she stops by.
